Leaks and hot spots found – on land and at sea

We locate compressed air, gas, vacuum and steam leaks with an industrial-grade acoustic camera and overheating switchboards, motors and bearings with a FLIR thermal camera – in Finland and, by arrangement, abroad and on board ships. Every survey comes with a maintenance findings report in English.

Condition surveys

Two cameras, one visit, one report

Acoustic imaging

An industrial-grade Fluke acoustic imager shows the ultrasound of a leak as a coloured sound map – even in a noisy plant or engine room and from the floor without a lift. Every leak is tagged on site and reported with an image, severity 1–3 and a recommended action.

Acoustic imaging and leak detection

Thermal imaging

A FLIR thermal camera that detects temperature differences as small as 0.1 °C shows loose connections, overloaded cables, worn bearings and clogged coolers before they fail – with the equipment running and under load.

Thermal imaging survey

Acoustic imaging applications

Any leak where gas or air escapes through a small opening because of a pressure difference produces ultrasound. That is why the same acoustic camera finds compressed air leaks as well as gas, vacuum and steam leaks. Choose an application to read more.

Outside Finland · ships · mobile sites

Acoustic and thermal imaging abroad and at sea

Our acoustic and thermal imaging surveys are not limited to Finland. By arrangement we travel with the cameras to sites in the Nordic and Baltic countries, elsewhere in the EU and beyond – and to mobile sites such as ships and vessels, offshore and work vessels, ports, mines and mobile machinery fleets.

  • Factories and process plants abroad
  • Ships during port calls or riding along
  • Ports, terminals and shipyards
  • Offshore and onshore industry
  • Mines and quarries
  • Mobile machinery fleets and depots

How it works abroad

  • Same hourly rate: measurement work 149 €/h excl. VAT (min. 2 h), report included.
  • Travel quoted per job: travel, accommodation and travel time are agreed before you order.
  • Report in English: findings with images, severity or priority and recommended actions.
  • Your site rules: we follow your permits, safety induction and – on ships – the master's instructions.
  • Honest limits: no Ex/ATEX areas, no class approval, no certified thermography.

Services in Finland

Workshop and inspection equipment in Finland

In Finland we also inspect, service, calibrate and repair workshop, vehicle inspection and industrial equipment of all makes – and do the electrical work ourselves.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between acoustic imaging and thermal imaging?

An acoustic camera images ultrasound and finds leaks of compressed air, gas, vacuum and steam. A thermal camera images temperature differences and finds overheating electrical and mechanical faults, such as hot connections and worn bearings. They complement each other and can be used on the same visit.

Do you work outside Finland?

Yes. Acoustic and thermal imaging surveys are available by arrangement in the Nordic and Baltic countries, elsewhere in the EU and beyond, and on ships and other mobile sites. Travel, accommodation and travel time are quoted per job. Our other services (vehicle lift inspections, calibration, electrical work etc.) are offered in Finland only.

Do equipment or systems need to be stopped for the survey?

No. Leaks only make a sound when systems are pressurised or running, and electrical and mechanical faults only heat up under load. Surveys are done during normal operation.

Are your surveys certified or class-approved?

No. Our thermal imaging is a maintenance condition survey, not certified thermography, and our reports are not approved by insurers or classification societies. The report is a maintenance findings report for your own maintenance planning.

What does a survey cost?

Measurement work is 149 €/h excl. VAT, minimum 2 hours, and the report is included. Travel is quoted in the estimate before you order. VAT is applied according to the applicable rules.
