Management system
Quality, environment and occupational safety
Inspections, calibrations and surveys are only reliable when the work is documented and traceable. That is why our work is based on documented practices covering quality, environmental matters and occupational health and safety.
Our management system has been built in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. It is self-declared and has not been certified by a third-party certification body.
For occupational health and safety we apply the principles of ISO 45001.
Quality
- Traceable calibrations. Every calibration comes with a calibration certificate, and calibration intervals are tracked for each instrument.
- Documented inspections and reports. Inspection records, calibration certificates and survey reports are stored in our customer portal and can be downloaded at any time.
- Nonconformities and corrective actions. Errors, complaints and nonconformities are recorded, their causes investigated and corrective actions followed through.
- Follow-up and reminders. We track inspection and service intervals and remind customers in good time.
Competence
- Vehicle lift inspector certificate, level 2. Personal certificate issued by Kiwa Inspecta (Finland).
- Tukes-registered electrical contractor. Finnish S2 electrical qualification (up to 1,000 V).
- Tukes-registered refrigeration company. Refrigerant handling in A/C service equipment work (Finland).
- Competence records. The validity of qualifications and certificates is tracked in the management system.
Environment
- Waste oil and filters. Waste oil, oil filters and other hazardous waste from servicing are delivered to appropriate waste management and recycling.
- Refrigerants. Refrigerants are handled in accordance with the regulations as a Tukes-registered refrigeration company.
- Energy-saving services for customers. Compressed air, gas, steam and vacuum leak surveys with an acoustic camera and thermal imaging help customers find wasted energy and developing faults.
- Visits combined. Where possible, inspections and servicing of several items are done on the same visit, which reduces travel.
Occupational health and safety
- Hazard identification. Hazards are assessed before work, and site inductions, permit-to-work systems and safety instructions are followed – on board ships, the master's instructions.
- Electrical safety. Electrical work and work near live switchboards are carried out in line with SFS 6002 (the Finnish standard based on EN 50110).
- Limits stated up front. We do not work in hazardous (Ex/ATEX) areas, because our cameras are not Ex certified.
A description of our management system, our policy and competence certificates are available on request for tenders and supplier questionnaires.
